oh wow..............

i'm really on the fence here. i agree with him, but at the same time, black men just give up sometimes.

I hate to use something I saw on those court shows BUT I remember Judge Harriett (??) was talking to this black man and she said, "We need you black men to be there! Where ARE you?! YOU are the reason we are mad! Because you guys just up and leave and let us raise another family all by ourselves. We NEED you, men."

I think, really....when it comes down to it all, it's a vicious circle. Black men aren't there, women are mad, mad Black women push men away, Black men are intrigued to find out if all women are like that and therefore, try other races, Black woman finds out, is even more mad, and the whole thing starts all over again.

I think Black women have the right to be mad...BUT to a certain extent. If Black men are just not being GOOD husbands/boyfriends/etc., hell yeah, I'd be pissed too...But you can't be mad for the guy have a fiable excuse to go to another race.

I don't know. I'm really on the fence on this one. I really liked the points he made for why a black man should leave. Then again, if all Black men were good, A+ quality men, we wouldn't be having this issue in the first place.

Ugh. I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

Hey, Nice site you have here.

I am looking foward to seeing this movie, but cant really give you an opinion on just the clip.

All I can say is though too many women jumped to conclusions off the clip like a lot of men did with chic flicks, like Something New.

The acting sucks... I just want to say...

But besides the low-budget-ness of it, I think it could be an interesting movie, but I think it does more harm than good. I think it pegs most Black women as drama- starting, bitter, Black man hating activists... And I think that this stereotype has so pervaded our community that many Black men accept it as truth... IDK...
